Nested classes allow logical grouping of related classes, improving organization and encapsulation. Member inner classes have access to instance members of the outer class, making them ideal for creating tightly coupled helper classes. Anonymous inner classes provide quick implementations of interfaces or abstract classes, often used in event handling and callbacks.
