2. Motion – गति

जब कोई वस्तु समय के साथ अपनी position बदलती है, तो उसे Motion कहते हैं।

Distance

वस्तु द्वारा तय किया गया कुल path = Distance

Displacement

Initial और final position के बीच shortest distance = Displacement

Speed

Speed = Distance / Time

Velocity

Velocity = Displacement / Time

Acceleration

a = (v − u) / t

जहाँ:

  • u = Initial Velocity

  • v = Final Velocity

  • t = Time

Equations of Motion

v = u + at

s = ut + ½at²

v² = u² + 2as


3. Force and Laws of Motion

Newton के तीन Laws of Motion Physics के महत्वपूर्ण concepts हैं।

Newton's First Law

कोई वस्तु अपनी अवस्था में तब तक परिवर्तन नहीं करती जब तक उस पर बाहरी बल न लगाया जाए।

इसे Law of Inertia भी कहा जाता है।

Newton's Second Law

F = ma

जहाँ:

F = Force
m = Mass
a = Acceleration

Newton's Third Law

हर क्रिया के बराबर और विपरीत दिशा में प्रतिक्रिया होती है।

Action = Reaction


4. Momentum

Momentum को संवेग कहते हैं।

p = mv

जहाँ:

p = Momentum
m = Mass
v = Velocity

Momentum की SI unit:

kg m/s


5. Work, Energy and Power

Work

जब force के कारण वस्तु displacement करती है, तो work done होता है।

W = F × s

यदि force और displacement के बीच angle θ हो:

W = Fs cos θ

SI unit = Joule

Kinetic Energy

Motion के कारण प्राप्त energy:

K.E. = ½mv²

Potential Energy

Position के कारण energy:

P.E. = mgh

Power

Power = Work / Time

SI unit = Watt


6. Gravitation

दो masses के बीच आकर्षण बल को gravitational force कहते हैं।

Newton's Law of Gravitation:

F = Gm₁m₂/r²

जहाँ G gravitational constant है।

Acceleration Due to Gravity

पृथ्वी की सतह के पास:

g ≈ 9.8 m/s²

Weight

W = mg

Mass और Weight में अंतर:

  • Mass की unit = kg

  • Weight की unit = Newton


7. Pressure

Pressure = Force per unit Area

P = F/A

SI unit = Pascal

Area कम होने पर समान force के लिए pressure बढ़ जाता है।

उदाहरण: Sharp knife आसानी से काटता है क्योंकि उसका contact area कम होता है।


8. Density

Density = Mass / Volume

ρ = m/V

SI unit = kg/m³


9. Heat and Temperature

Heat

Heat energy का एक रूप है जो temperature difference के कारण transfer होती है।

Temperature

Temperature किसी वस्तु की hotness या coldness का measure है।

SI unit = Kelvin

Specific Heat

किसी पदार्थ के unit mass का temperature 1°C बढ़ाने के लिए आवश्यक heat को specific heat कहते हैं।

10. Change of State

Matter की तीन प्रमुख states हैं:

  • Solid

  • Liquid

  • Gas

Latent Heat

State change के दौरान temperature बदले बिना absorbed या released heat को latent heat कहते हैं।

11. Thermodynamics

Thermodynamics heat और work के बीच संबंध का अध्ययन करता है।

First Law of Thermodynamics

Energy neither created nor destroyed.

इसका mathematical form:

ΔQ = ΔU + W

जहाँ:

  • ΔQ = Heat supplied

  • ΔU = Change in Internal Energy

  • W = Work done


12. Waves

Wave energy को एक स्थान से दूसरे स्थान तक transfer करती है।

Important Terms

  • Wavelength = λ

  • Frequency = f

  • Time Period = T

  • Velocity = v

Relation:

v = fλ

और

f = 1/T


13. Sound

Sound एक mechanical wave है।

यह vacuum में travel नहीं कर सकती।

Air में sound की speed लगभग 343 m/s at room temperature मानी जाती है।

Important Facts

  • Audible range for humans = 20 Hz – 20,000 Hz

  • Below 20 Hz = Infrasonic

  • Above 20,000 Hz = Ultrasonic

Echo

Sound के reflection के कारण echo उत्पन्न होता है।


14. Light

Light एक form of electromagnetic radiation है।

Vacuum में light की speed:

c = 3 × 10⁸ m/s

Light की प्रमुख phenomena:

  • Reflection

  • Refraction

  • Dispersion

  • Interference

  • Diffraction

  • Polarization


15. Reflection of Light

Reflection में light किसी surface से टकराकर उसी medium में वापस लौटती है।

Laws of Reflection

  1. Angle of incidence = Angle of reflection

  2. Incident ray, reflected ray और normal एक ही plane में होते हैं।


16. Refraction of Light

Light जब एक medium से दूसरे medium में जाती है तो उसकी direction बदल सकती है। इसे refraction कहते हैं।

Snell's Law

n₁ sin i = n₂ sin r

Refractive Index:

n = c/v


17. Lens

Lens Formula

1/f = 1/v − 1/u

Magnification

m = v/u

Convex lens:

  • Converging lens

Concave lens:

  • Diverging lens


18. Human Eye

Human eye में lens image को retina पर focus करता है।

Important Parts

  • Cornea

  • Iris

  • Pupil

  • Eye Lens

  • Retina

  • Optic Nerve

Common Eye Defects

Myopia – दूर की वस्तुएँ स्पष्ट दिखाई नहीं देतीं।

Correction: Concave Lens

Hypermetropia – पास की वस्तुएँ स्पष्ट दिखाई नहीं देतीं।

Correction: Convex Lens

Presbyopia – उम्र बढ़ने के साथ near vision में समस्या।


19. Electricity

Electric current charge के flow को कहते हैं।

I = Q/t

SI unit = Ampere

Potential Difference

V = W/Q

SI unit = Volt


20. Ohm's Law

Constant temperature पर:

V = IR

जहाँ:

V = Voltage
I = Current
R = Resistance

Resistance

R = ρL/A


21. Electrical Power

P = VI

इसके अन्य forms:

P = I²R

P = V²/R

SI unit = Watt

Electrical Energy:

E = Pt

Commercial unit:

1 kWh = 3.6 × 10⁶ J


22. Series and Parallel Resistance

Series

R = R₁ + R₂ + R₃ + ...

Series में current समान रहता है।

Parallel

1/R = 1/R₁ + 1/R₂ + 1/R₃ + ...

Parallel combination में potential difference समान रहता है।


23. Magnetic Effect of Current

Current-carrying conductor के आसपास magnetic field उत्पन्न होती है।

Electromagnet

Current के कारण magnetic field उत्पन्न करके temporary magnet बनाया जा सकता है।

24. Electromagnetic Induction

Magnetic flux में change के कारण conductor में induced emf उत्पन्न होती है।

इस phenomenon की खोज Michael Faraday से संबंधित है।

इस principle का उपयोग:

में होता है।


25. Electric Motor

Electric motor electrical energy को mechanical energy में बदलता है।

Applications

  • Fans

26. Electric Generator

Generator mechanical energy को electrical energy में बदलता है।

यह electromagnetic induction के principle पर कार्य करता है।


27. Transformer

Transformer AC voltage को step-up या step-down करने के लिए उपयोग किया जाता है।

Vₛ/Vₚ = Nₛ/Nₚ

जहाँ:

  • Vₛ = Secondary Voltage

  • Vₚ = Primary Voltage

  • Nₛ = Secondary Turns

Transformer DC पर सामान्यतः काम नहीं करता।


28. Electromagnetic Waves

Electromagnetic waves को medium की आवश्यकता नहीं होती।

30. Radioactivity

कुछ unstable nuclei स्वतः radiation emit करते हैं। इसे radioactivity कहते हैं।

31. Nuclear Fission

32. Nuclear Fusion

दो हल्के nuclei मिलकर भारी nucleus बनाते हैं।

सूर्य में energy production मुख्यतः nuclear fusion से संबंधित है।


33. Photoelectric Effect

जब suitable frequency की light किसी metal surface पर पड़ती है और electrons निकलते हैं, तो इसे photoelectric effect कहते हैं।

यह phenomenon light की particle nature को समझने में महत्वपूर्ण है।


34. Semiconductor

Semiconductor की conductivity conductor और insulator के बीच होती है।
